In 2001, Osbourne participated in the documentary “We Sold Our Souls for Rock ‘n Roll,” & the following year, she joined her family on “The Osbournes” (without Aimee). The show ran for four seasons and broadcast 52 episodes. It earned a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Program in 2002. Kelly was described by “Rolling Stone” magazine as “a wickedly funny, pint-size, brutally honest, potty-mouthed spitfire.” In 2002, she released her debut album, “Shut Up,” which debuted at number one on the “Billboard” Heatseekers chart.
Osbourne ended up with her label, Epic Records, in 2003, and her follow-up, “Sleeping in the Nothing,” was released in 2005 on Sanctuary Records. She joined the cast of the ABC teenager drama “Life as We Know It” in 2004, playing Deborah Tynan in all 13 episodes.
