She was born on 19 December, 1984 in Indore. Being born in a Marathi Family. She have two brothers and also a sister. She was so good in playing badminton and turned out excellent champion during her early days. After doing her graduation, she movie to Mumbai to make her career in acting.

She first participated in India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj. She was casted Ekta Kapoor’s Pavitra Rishta where she played role of Archana Deshmukh with Sushant Singh Rajput and Hiten Tejwani from the years of 2009 to 2014.
She also participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4, where she got 5th rank and also in Comedy Circus ka Naya Daur. She was ready to make her debut movie playing a role in Padmaavat movie which was released in 2018, which she left, as she was not ready for films that time.
In 2018, she announced that she will be casted in movie Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, which was produced by Kangana Ranaut where she played the role of Jhalkaribai. This movie was based on the life of Rani Laxmi Bai. This film was released on republic Day in 2019 and was hit at the box-office.
After that, she was starred in Baaghi 3 in 2020 which was an action thriller movie. She was alongside of well-known celebrities like Shraddha Kapoor, Tiger Shroff and Ritesh Deshmukh. This film got affected because of the covid 19 which resulted in the shutdown of theatres.
She replayed her role in a web series named “Pavitra Rishta:- It’s Never too Late” from 2021 to 2022. In 2022, she was a participant in Smart Jodi with her husband.
