Smith met Billy Wayne Smith, a cook at Jim’s Krispy Fried Chicken in Mexia, Texas, while working there, and they got married on April 4, 1985, when she was seventeen. In January 1986, she gave birth to their son, Daniel Wayne Smith. In 1993, Anna and Billy Wayne divorced.
Anna married oil industry magnate J. Howard Marshall in June 1994, shortly after being voted Playmate of the Year. They met while she was working at a strip joint in Houston. Marshall was her senior by 62 years. Naturally, rumors spread that Anna married the octogenarian for his money. Marshall died in Houston at the age of 90, just 13 months after they married.
