Locklear began her acting career as a model, with roles in shows such as “ChiPs,” “240-Robert,” & “Eight Is Enough.” Locklear booked various jobs throughout the 1980s after meeting film and television producer Aaron Spelling. This began with the TV shows “Dynasty” & “T.J. Hooker.” By the end of the 1980s, she was landing roles in movies such as “The Return of Swamp Thing” (though she was nominated for a Razzie for Worst Actress).
Locklear began her career in shows such as “Going Places” before landing one of her most well-known parts in “Melrose Place.” She remained in the series until its end in 1999.
