In 1988, Flavin met actor Sylvester Stallone at a Beverly Hills restaurant. In 1994, Stallone informed Flavin that he had an affair with model Janice Dickinson and believed he was the father of her newborn daughter. However, DNA tests indicated that he was not the father. In 1997, Stallone and Flavin reconciled and married in a civil ceremony in London.
