Milind Soman Biography: Milind soman is a popular Indian Model, actor and fitness enthusiast. He has always been a known figure in the Indian entertainment industry for more than three decades. He was born on 4th November, 1965, in Scotland. When he turned 7 years old, he with his family to India.
Education
Soman did his schooling from Dr. Antonio Da Silva High School from Mumbai and after that pursued his degree in Electrical engineering from M.H Saboo Siddik College of Engineering.
Career
His career began from doing modelling in 1990s. He was one of the first male model to get so much recognition in India. His charming personality and looks made him a hit in the fashion industry through advertising too. His first brand to do modelling for was for Thackersey Fabrics. He also worked with other brands such as Arvind Mills, Allen Solly and Levis.
His acting debut movie was in Bollywood “Tarkeib”. He also acted with other movies like “Agni Varsha” “16 December”, “Bheja fry”. Also made a role in a TV series “Captain Vyom”, which was India’s first sci-fic television show and a huge hit for children.
Apart from modelling and acting, he is also known for being so fit. Also, he has been a marathon runner for more than two decades now and also took part in various international marathons. He is also a social activist and have worked for many global causes like Pinkathon, which is a women’s marathon to spread the awareness regarding breast cancer. Apart from this, he has been associated for PETA which is people for ethical treatment of animals and always a vocal advocate for animal’s rights.
