Kieron Pollar Biography: A Trinidadian all-rounder named Kieron Pollard plays for the West Indies national cricket team. From September 2019 onwards, he captained the West Indian team in ODIs and T20s.
Kieron Pollard’s early life
On May 12, 1987 Kieron Pollard was born in Tacarigua, Trinidad. The name of his mother is Hazel-Ann Pollard, who single-handedly raised him along with his two sisters in very hard situations. Despite this difficult life, he has proven himself to be a world-class player. After being selected for the West Indies U19 team, he even represented Trinidad & Tobago in the 2005 TCL Group West Indies Under-19 Challenge.

2007
In 2007, Kieron Pollard made his international debut in the ODIs, which was followed by his T20I debut in 2008 for the West Indies cricket team.
2011
Until 2011, his performances were not that good, but in the 2011 World Cup, he scored a couple of half centuries. Later on in that same year, he made his first century, scoring 119 runs off 110 balls against India in Chennai.
2019
In T20Is through the years, Pollard has shown amazing performances, and then in September 2019, he was named as the captain of the West Indies’ in both ODI and T20I squads.
2020
Pollard became the first cricketer to play in 500 T20 matches in March 2020.

IPL career of Kieron Pollard
- In the 2010 IPL auction, Kieron Pollard was a sought-after player following his performances in the Big Bash League, and eventually he joined the Mumbai Indians.
- On March 17, Pollard made his debut against the Delhi Daredevils, and it took him some time to get into form. However, he was soon wowing audiences by scoring 45 runs off 13 balls against Delhi Daredevils on April 13, followed by 33 runs off 13 balls, 1 run out, and 3 wickets against Royal Challengers Bangalore, winning him Man of the Match in the 2010 IPL semi-final on April 21. This helped propel the Mumbai Indians to their first-ever final appearance.
