Nayab Singh Saini Biography: Nayab Singh Saini was born on 25 January 1970. He is an Indian politician. He is serving as the 11th and current Chief Minister of Haryana since 12 March 2024 and the President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Haryana since 2023. He was also an MP from Kurukshetra. Lok Sabha constituency from 2019 to 2024, Minister of State in the Government of Haryana from 2015 to 2019 and Member of the Haryana Legislative Assembly from Narayangarh Assembly constituency from 2014 to 2019. Early Life & Education
Nayab Singh Saini was born in Mizapur Majra, a small village in Ambala, Haryana, India. He was born on 25 January 1970 in a Haryanvi Saini family. He studied at B.R. in Muzaffarpur to obtain BA and LLB degrees. Ambedkar attended Bihar University and Chaudhary Charan Singh University in Meerut.
Early Career
He joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, through which he met Manohar Lal Khattar and was greatly influenced by him. After some time Nayab Saini joined BJP. After that he worked in many local party offices including its President in Ambala Cantonment. He has been the vote bank of OBCs and has been highly loyal to the party for a long time.
Political Career
Nayab Saini contested from Narayangarh constituency in 2010, but lost to Ramkishan Gurjar by securing 3,028 votes out of the total 116,039 votes. He won the election in 2014 by 24,361 votes. At that time he was the Minister of State in the Haryana Government.
He was elected as the Member of Parliament from Kurukshetra in the Indian general election in 2019.
Before the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Manohar Lal Khattar announced his resignation from the post of Chief Minister of Haryana. A few hours later, on March 12, 2024, BJP state president Nayab Singh Saini was declared the new Chief Minister of Haryana.
