Alec’s three younger brothers, Stephen, William, and Daniel, are also performers, and he has two sisters. The children were raised in a Roman Catholic home by parents who were direct descendants of Mayflower travelers, making the Baldwins one of the country’s oldest European families.
Alec Baldwin became an avid football player in high school. He then attended George Washington University before moving to New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts to study acting.
